Jump Start Java is a veteran and military spouse owned and operated business. We are proud of our military values and bring them into our daily work.
As well as serving in the Marine Corps, Chris Hilborn has a degree in Culinary Management and is a food safe certified chef. He enjoys tweaking the coffee recipes and finding the best gourmet coffee beans to bring the best product to our customers. His favorite coffee is a toss up between our bold and mochaccinno.
The person often behind the scenes, Crystal Brewer, has a degree in Business Management and has a lot of non-profit experience. She enjoys customizing plans for each client to fit our services into their budget. Her favorite coffee is our French Vanilla.

Customer Service
We want all of our customers to experience an impressive level of professionalism when working with Jump Start Java. All of our services, especially this one, exist to make your life easier and stress free. We make every attempt to respond to requests within 2 hours, but will always respond within 24 hours. You can trust us to supply you with the best products, as well as top quality customer service.
Coffee Service
Our service combines the convenience of a single serve machine with a quality that will compete with your favorite coffee shop. Our state of the art Italian-made machines use only top quality beans, ground fresh for each serving. The machines use bulk product to eliminate excess packaging and the coffee grounds are compostable. We have a wonderful standard menu that includes mochaccino, french vanilla, espresso, and hot chocolate. Plus, we bring in seasonal favorites like pumpkin spice.

Event Coffee
Please consider Jump Start Java if you have a conference, wedding, meeting, seminar, golf outing, bridal shower, or other event. We can bring our beautiful machines to grind fresh coffee and even froth the milk to order. We will handle everything from start to finish to help your event run smoothly. Our machines are small enough that they'll mix into nearly any environment with an electric outlet. We also offer a vending option if coffee is not in your budget.
Giving Back
One of the goals when creating Jump Start Java was to help others. We'd be happy to perk up community events by providing our delicious gourmet coffee products. Our participation is dependent on equipment and personnel availability. Please reach out to our office manager, Crystal, with the event name, date, time, location, and expected attendance.

2019 Holiday Market hosted by Side By Side Columbus

9 am - 12 pm
Jump Start Java will be selling hot gourmet beverages to market patrons. Our menu for the day will include bold coffee, hot chocolate, mochaccino, cappuccino, latte, espresso, french vanilla, and possibly a seasonal flavor to be announced! Shop with over 35 crafters and vendors. There will be a silent auction and a raffle as well.

Columbus Coffee Festival 2019

We provided samples of our Bold, Mochaccino, French Vanilla, and Pumpkin Spice and displayed our largest machine for festival goers.
Grove City Relay for Life
June 29, 2019
Jump Start Java provided coffee to participants of the relay for free. Some were getting a little sleepy toward the end of the night and Jump Start Java was there to help keep them going.
